For nearly a decade, I’ve worked as a nurse across critical care, aesthetics, and critical care transport. Nursing has shaped not only my career, but who I am. It’s taught me that trust, precision, and genuine care aren’t optional—they’re at the heart of everything I do.
Over time, I realized I wanted to bring that same level of care into a space where I could help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Veya grew from that idea—a place where thoughtful care, experience, and confidence come together.

I chose downtown Hayward for Veya because this is home. It’s the city that raised me, and I wanted to build something meaningful here for the community that has given me so much.
I also wanted Veya to feel different from the big chains—a studio where you’re known, your care feels personal, and you never feel like just another appointment on the schedule. My nursing background brings the safety, attention to detail, and experience I’ve carried throughout my career into every treatment.
For me, Veya is about more than hair removal. It’s about helping you feel confident, making life a little easier, and creating a place you genuinely feel comfortable coming back to.

Dr. Rongey | Board Certified Dermatopathologist
Dr. Christine Rongey is a board-certified dermatopathologist with over a decade of experience in aesthetics. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania and has contributed to more than 30 publications, including work in the field of dermatology.
Based in Livermore, California, Dr. Rongey also owns and operates her own medical spa, bringing both clinical expertise and hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine to her role as Veya’s Medical Director.
